The Milford Track guided day walk is recommended for those with a good level of fitness. The hike lasts for approximately 3.5 hours at a set pace of 3km per hour.
The track has a 50-metre vertical gain and is 11km in length. In certain places, the terrain can be rocky and uneven, and wet weather can sometimes make the hike more challenging. but involves several hours of walking.
You’ll need to wear practical clothing (jeans and streetwear are not suitable for this activity) and comfortable walking shoes on this tour.
