Explore the ice falls at both Fox and Franz Josef glaciers in a whole new way on this epic scenic flight. 

Enjoy a 30-minute experience with up to 10 minutes in the air, soaring over both the Franz Josef and Fox glaciers. You'll travel over the townships before following the ice flow high up into the upper reaches. After enjoying some time in the air, you'll experience a snow landing that takes you face-to-face with the glacier itself!

Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers are two of New Zealand largest glaciers and flying above them you’ll catch some amazing views. Flying is a great way to appreciate the incredible natural phenomenon and take in the towering ice formations and vast glaciers

Franz Josef Glacier provides some of the most stunning ‘ice architecture’ of any Glacier in the world and you'll have the chance to snap some stunning photos of this beauty as you fly. It's now only accessible via helicopter, following a collapse of the terminal face in 2012, so this tour is perfect!

Fox Glacier is one of the few in the world which exist in close proximity to both an ocean and a rainforest. The unique setting of Fox Glacier and speed of the ice-flow, which is up to 3 metres per day in places, make for some of the most dynamic ice formations of any glacier.

Admire views of the Southern Alps and striking Mount Cook, before the highlight of your day, a snow landing! Land at the head of one of the glaciers and survey the path the glacier has carved below you. Jump out onto the ice and take it all in, making sure to snap plenty of photos.

We love that you get to see Franz Josef AND Fox Glacier from the sky on this trip. It's often hard to choose between the two, but you get a different vantage point of both on this trip!

• Child 4-14 years, Infants 0-3 years. Infants (under 4 years and under 15kgs) are required to sit on an adult’s knee. Infants over 15kgs will require their own seat. Please advise the weight when making your booking 
• Flights, landings and routes may vary due to weather and at the pilot’s discretion. Flight times are approximate and include your landing
• To avoid disappointment, please let us know if a passenger's weight changes from time of booking. If your actual weight at check in is 15kg (33lb) or greater than your declared weight, you may need to be rescheduled and would be subject to flight availability
• We recommend booking your flights early in your trip with flexibility for weather changes. We don’t want you to miss out!
• Minimum passenger numbers apply for flights. Bookings will be coordinated to achieve this where possible.
