Everything about the tour was great! Even though the flight back was cancelled, and it was very rainy, it made for a stunning moody Milford Sound. Also, Barber our tour guide is fantastic!

The tour departs from the meeting point at the Southern Discoveries Office, St Omer Wharf, 110 Beach Street, Queenstown. Alternatively, return transfers are available from selected Queenstown accommodation.

The day couldn’t be better. An informative and beautiful drive with the right number of opportunities for photos. The cruise was long enough and we saw seals and dolphins along with the spectacular fjords. The flight back through the ice capped mountains was ideal.

Note: You do not need a passport. The flights are not affected by the use of mobile phones and are permitted on board. However, phones cannot be used while on the airfield with active aircraft around you. There is no phone signal in Milford Sound; phone calls will be unsuccessful after leaving Queenstown.
