I’ll admit I was dreading the long coach ride, but the photo stops and great commentary made it fun. Milford Sound itself was absolutely breathtaking from the water. Getting booked was a breeze, and the day was well-paced. If you want a mix of epic views and a bit of adventure, this is it.
I didn’t mind the long coach ride to Milford Sound because the views were amazing, and we made stops at some really cool spots along the way. The cruise was absolutely stunning—I couldn’t get over how huge the cliffs and waterfalls were. Booking the tour was simple, and everything ran like clockwork. A truly unforgettable day.

Check-in at Steamer Wharf, 88 Beach Street, 20 minutes prior to departure.
Transfers: Reservations can be transferred to another date (subject to availability) up to 24 hours prior to departure with no transfer fee incurred.
Cancellations: Cancellations must be received 24 hours prior to trip departure. Trips are non-refundable after this point.
The Supplier reserves the right to cancel trips or substitute another river or section of river for safety reasons.
Cut off time for bookings is 6pm the night prior to departure to ensure everything (e.g. pickup) is arranged prior to the morning.

It was a lovely trip, enjoyed the bus ride, was a bit disappointed that lunch was not included but other than that the trip was awesome and we have some good memories.

Queenstown, OtagoDriving to Milford Sound from Queenstown will take around 5 hours. The Supplier has added a little extra time to allow for photo stops and short walks. Make sure you fill up your tank at Te Anau as there are no petrol stations in the national park.
