Let us welcome you to the Clay Shooting gun club where you and your mates can enjoy a spot of healthy competition shooting clay targets out of the sky against one of New Zealand’s most magnificent rural backdrops. Guests will enjoy one-on-one guidance in clay bird shooting from an experienced instructor ensuring few clays get away alive.

The custom-designed sporting field is equipped with eight automatic clay bird throwers to suit all levels and abilities; so if you have never been clay shooting before, or even shot a gun before, never fear. Our fully qualifed and experienced instructors will be on hand to teach you what you need to know so you can chase the thrill of hitting your target. It also includes the run-away rabbit across the ground (don’t worry, it’s not the real thing!). For the more experienced shooters or those wanting an extra challenge, we offer the choice of a 25 or 50 Bird ‘Flurry’. 

This is one of the most unique sporting activities to come out of the adventure capital of Queenstown, providing you with an exhilarating and empowering 45-minute experience. The shotguns and protective gear are all provided, so all you have to do is ready, aim, fire!

When it comes to firearms, safety is always of the utmost importance. Not only will you go through a thorough safety briefing and gun safety demonstration, but you will also be provided with high-quality protective gear, including earmuffs, glasses and a shooting vest. The stand facilitates six shooters per session; each shooter is positioned in their own stand with safety barriers to ensure safe operation at all times.

• Parental/Guardian consent is required for those under 16 years of age
• The Operator's trips require minimum numbers. Single Pax bookings may be rescheduled
• The Operator reserves the right to cancel or postpone trips at its sole discretion & will refund the purchase price if a trip is cancelled or postponed by us
• The Operator reserves the right to cancel or amend a trip due to weather or unforeseen circumstances at any stage. In this instance, customers will be given an option to rebook or receive a full refund
• No-shows or cancellations within 24 hours of departure are non-refundable. Refunds are granted solely at the discretion of The Operator
