Booking this tour through Backpacker Deals was an excellent decision. The tour itself was amazing - we had the chance to taste some of the best local wines and foods, and the scenery was stunning. The only negative was the traffic on the roads, which made the journey feel a bit longer than expected. Nonetheless, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend booking through Backpacker Deals too.
Lots of wine tours don't include food so this was a nice surprise. Great value for money and found a few wines to take with me back home to the UK so I can taste a bit of Queenstown from across the pond.
The wineries in the Queenstown region were beautiful to sit at and trial their wines. There is a wine for everyone and if you didn't like it ... just move on to the next one. The lunch on the tour was also delicious and I love how they used local produce to support the local economy. I am from across the ditch in Australia and recommend this as a relaxing day out for your next trip to NZ.
Excellent tour! Angus was funny, engaging and so engaging all day! Would highly recommend
